It is more important than ever to switch to clean and renewable energy sources to accommodate the transition to a low-carbon economy. At Flux, we take our responsibility as a manufacturing organization very seriously, which is why we installed solar panels in our production facility in Thailand.
Early 2023, we installed a number of solar panels at our Thailand facility, which houses approximately 300 employees. The implementation of solar panels will generate 380.000 kWh of power annually, covering about 70 percent of the facility’s energy consumption.
The solar panels are expected to generate electricity to a large extent of the production that takes place in our Bangkok-based facility. In addition to saving electricity and reducing the charges for peak demand, the solar panels will lower the temperature on the inner side of the roof. In turn, this will provide energy conservation and lower the energy expense on air-condition, which allows us to maintain a nice and functional work environment for our employees.
At Flux, we intend to become as climate neutral as possible without compromising the high level of quality that our components possess. This means that we need to stay educated on the area and invest in potential growth within the sector of renewability.

Our factory in Thailand is the perfect foundation for a station of solar panels given the large surfaces, that the rooftops amount to. The shift to renewable energy will lower our overall energy costs as we produce our energy on-site – free of charge. All while it reduces our overall carbon footprint and secures a future energy supply.
A lot of our clients also take part in implementing green alternatives in their production, which makes it even more relevant to stay eco-friendly and participate in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and relieving climate change. This way, we can give rise to a more climate-friendly production, jointly.
