PCIM 2024: An insightful exhibition with likeminded people

Written by FLUX News Desk | Aug 9, 2024 9:07:47 AM

We always look forward to meeting current and potential clients to discuss how our magnetic components can be customized to fit their needs. And a power electronics conference makes the perfect setting for doing exactly that. Therefore, we re-attended this year's PCIM Europe Exhibition and Conference taking place in Nuremberg, Germany.

Representing Flux at the PCIM Europe Exhibition, we had our COO, John Willum, our Key Account Manager, Rene Laustsen, and our two Senior Design Engineers, Casper Hjort Wilson, and Mohanad Shiyaa. Our CEO, Søren Lau Jensen, joined us at our booth on June 12th to meet industry peers and contribute to interesting debates about the future of power electronics.

Power electronics: A game-changer for the world's future energy systems

We are just as passionate about exchanging knowledge about electromagnetic components as we are about the components themselves. Therefore, we take every chance to learn more about innovative initiatives and developments within the field. This year's program was packed with inspirational thought leaders and panel discussions on energy efficiency, electromobility, and energy storage.

PCIM 2024 allowed us to dive deep into the latest research results and developments in power electronics. We participated in insightful talks with customers, material suppliers, and other key players within power electronics, with the aim of making our products and components more efficient and long-lasting.

An explorative field that never ceases to grow

On average, 70% of today's electricity is powered by power electronics. We use it every day in our daily lives through electronic devices, automobiles, energy solutions, etc. Even though it quietly operates in the background – it is a vital transformational technology that changes the way we produce and consume energy.

Therefore, it seems obvious that more than half of our world's electrical energy is processed by power electronics, and it will continue to increase in the decades to come.

Flux takes pride in being a small part of this revolutionary development, and will continuously invest in improving our components to stay contemporary and follow the progression of power electronics.

Showcasing prototypes of magnetic components

The PCIM fair was not only a chance to exchange knowledge. It was also a possibility for us at Flux to showcase some of our finest components, which always prove to be an extraordinary conversation starter. Interacting with customers and like-minded people within the same industry is always a great way to expand our understanding of the specific needs and requirements when it comes to magnetic components. Displaying our prototypes offers a better understanding of the components and makes it less complex when discussing specific needs.

Showcasing our magnetic components and discussing customized needs has been a great pleasure.

Meet with us next year or book a meeting today

We always enjoy meeting like-minded industry peers to discuss the future of electronic power solutions, and we will continue to do so as the development of power electronics never stops.

If you could not attend this year's PCIM Europe Exhibition and therefore missed out on a chance to stop by our booth, feel free to book a meeting with our COO, John Willum below, to gain insight into the newest technologies and learn how they may benefit your next project.
