PCIM Europe: Showing our automotive solutions first-hand

PCIM Europe: Showing our automotive solutions first-hand

On the 9th of May, local and international companies arrived in Nuremberg, Germany to attend the annual PCIM fair. The fair provided companies with the opportunity to represent their respective fields within the industries of power electronics, intelligent motion, renewable energy, and energy management. A broad representation of companies within the industry attended the fair, and Flux was no exception.

To represent Flux at the fair, we send our COO, John Willum, our Key Account Manager, Rene Laustsen, and our two Senior Design Engineers, Casper Hjort Wilson, and Mohanad Shiyaa.

We brought our prototypes to the people!

To ensure that our visitors had a great understanding of what we do, we brought prototypes like the ones that we make when initiating a project with our customers. This way, people who visited our booth, not only got an impression of what we do, but they also got to see how detailed and precise we make our prototypes – a service that we prioritize deeply when running a project with a customer.

At the fair, we displayed prototypes of our three main components: chokes, transformers, and inductors. We also brought finished units to illustrate how the components work in practice and to show how the units impact the components based on the environment of the final construction.

We prioritize meeting our customers

Attending fairs allows us to meet potential customers face-to-face. It is a nice way to interact with current and future customers while meeting people who are just as invested in the industry as we are. No matter if people were curious to see what we do, had a hands-on problem that they would like to discuss, or just came by for a chat, we enjoyed every minute of it.

Our COO, John Willum, shared his thoughts on Flux's attendance at the PCIM Europe Fair in Nuremberg.

“Personally, I appreciate meeting people under more “casual” circumstances and talking about a field that interests all parties. It’s all about face-to-face communication, and I believe that this is a great way to show the many benefits of our customized solutions"

From time to time, we experience that our customers have a very specific need, which is sometimes hard for them to fully specify. By meeting our visitors in person, it was less complex to chat about their specific requirements, what their needs were, and how we could provide the right components for them. By having prototypes of finished units, we were able to illustrate first-hand how our components work and show how customizable our solutions are – which is something our customers often ask within this industry.

Until next year!

It is always a pleasure to get out of the office and meet people first-hand! It brings along so many impressions and new perspectives on things. Flux will be attending the PCIM Europe fair again next year.

We can’t wait to meet new people and reconnect with familiar faces. PCIM is an industry fair that unites people across various fields and industries, and we could not be prouder to be represented along with so many other talented corporations.

Did you miss out on a chance to come by our booth – no problem! Book a meeting with our COO, John Willum below, and let’s have a chat about your needs and how we can meet them.
